Google Classroom is an app through which a significant amount of our classroom work is completed. It is not a website published to the open internet, rather it is an application that allows assigning and collection of student work in the form of Google Docs, Google Forms, and Google Slides.
My students will be expected to use their Google accounts established by the school district for this work. These accounts belong to the school, not the students. Therefore, they should understand that inappropriate or recreational use of these accounts is not permitted. Also, because these are school accounts, I expect all of my students to share their usernames and passwords with their parents so that parents have real-time access to the work we are doing in class.
Training in Google Apps will be provided in class as needed for students. Through the course of the school year, students will become proficient with the following Google apps: GMail, Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms, and Classroom.
